Connecting to WiFi on Android

The below options in bold may be called something different on your device - different Android phones call these settings different things.


1. Visit roedean.co.uk/certificate in a browser 

2. The certificate will download - if you see any errors relating to being unable to install certificates ignore these

3. In settings go to WiFi

4. Go to Advanced Network Settings 

5. Select Install WiFi Certificate

6. Select the certificate that was just downloaded (RoedeanWiFICertificate.cer in downloads)

7. Name it Roedean

8. When connecting to a Roedean WiFi Network use the below settings:

1. EAP Method - PEAP

2. Phase 2 Authentication - MSCHAPV2

3. Certificate - Roedean

4. Certificate status - Do not validate

5. Domain - roenet.org

6. Identity - Your username (not email)

7. Password - Your school password

8. Privacy - Use device MAC
