Mobility Print - macOS

To install the software

This instructions only have to be done once. Afterwards you can just follow the "To print" instructions 

  1. On the device you want to install the printers onto make sure your are:
    • Connected to the Roedean WiFi ("Roedean - Student" or "Roedean - Staff")
    • You are not using a VPN
  2. Visit the website mobilityprint.roedean.co.uk in a web browser and click Download
    • If prompted click allow downloads from this website
  3. Open the file downloaded (Called pc-mobility-print-printer-setup) and double click the file called PaperCut Mobility Print Client.pkg
  4. Click Continue, Continue, Agree and then Install
    • If prompted enter the password for your MacOS Device
  5. Click Close when prompted and then Move to bin


To print

  1. In the application you are printing from select the print option - the Roedean printers will appear (they will say RSPrint below their name). Select the one you would like to print too
  2. On applicable printers you can choose options such as single/double sided, colour/black & white, paper size
  3. Click print
  4. When prompted enter your Roedean username and password - the same one you would use for a school computer or your emails (Only enter your username and not your email (For example XX10 rather than XX10@roedean.co.uk))
    • You can choose to tick "remember this password in my keychain" to not have to enter it everytime
  5. Depending on the printer you may need to release it by logging into the printer with your printer code or your Roedean username & password


If in the "Print centre" app it shows "Hold for authentication" you have entered incorrect username or password. Please select the job with the message and then click the retry icon on the right (Padlock in the round arrow) and retry entering your username and password.


If you've changed your password

  1. Open "Keychain Access"
  2. Click "Open Keychain Access"
  3. Click "Login" on the left under "Default Keychains"
  4. Click "Kind" at the top to sort and then scroll until you see "network password"
  5. For any items that have the name of a printer and the type of "network password" right click and select "Delete"
